DMVP Bamboo flooring is unique, because it is made using bamboo veneer. Other suppliers use solid bamboo strips to create a bamboo plank. Using bamboo veneer, a much more stable (low shrink and swell) can be created. And because the material is much thinner than a solid floor, the costs can be reduced considerably.
DMVP bamboo flooring consists of a few strips of approx 50mm wide. Each strip consists of multiple layers of veneer. The floor board is normally produced with a latex backing. The board is very flexible and can be installed on sub floors which are not flat. The product has a strong, very matt, lacquer and if necessary a special ‘project’ lacquer can be applied. Installation is easy: the boards are glued to the sub floor with any carpet glue.
