DMVP multilayer veneer is a very flexible panel, which can be applied perfectly in furniture, wall panels or ceiling panels. The individual layers are, alternate, cross pressed to increase the stability of the multilayer veneer.
Because of its excellent flexibility, the multilayer veneer is used often in applications where a curved panel is needed.
DMVP multilayer veneer can also be impregnated with a fire retardant. In this manner, the product can answer to the strictest fire norms for wood materials.
The best example of combining both features (flexibility and fire resistance) is the ceiling panel which was used in the Madrid airport. Here, 200.000m2 of DMVP multilayer veneer was used for the ceiling panels. This is the biggest bamboo project in the world!
