Further processing

After slicing the veneer sheets, the veneer is dried and categorised in different quality and colour grades. Smaller pieces are spliced (joined) together to create standard sheet sizes (for example 2500x1250mm). For each colour (natural, khaki, caramel) 3 different color grades are categorised – so in total 9 different colour categories are made.

A fleece backing is applied to create a stronger, easier to handle, product. Finally the veneer is sanded to make sure the thickness is equal all over the sheet. The end product is called MOSO bamboo veneer: the best bamboo veneer available!
